About
I am an Autistic Artist who, over the years, have worked with many different mediums and in many different facets of the creative industries, including the Fashion and Beauty industries.
I have been designing, making and selling my pieces at music festivals, art galleries & independent shops for the past six years, and have been lucky enough to have exhibited my work on a few occasions.
I draw inspiration from many sources; from the natural world to ancient civilizations & tribes.
Being myself very concerned with environmental issues, I try to reflect this in the pieces I make and source recycled, reclaimed materials wherever possible.
Because I do not use traditional techniques when making my pieces, my work is unique. My neurodivergence means I don't subscribe to methodically measuring the material for each piece, it is all made freehand, making each item a true one-off; although some designs may be repeated, they will all have their own unique characteristics and identity.
I also use no hazardous chemicals in the production stages of my work and only use natural products that do not pose any risk to our beautiful planet.
The materials I like to use most in my designs are Wood, Glass, Silver, Copper and Semi-precious Stones. I have studied and used Gemstones for many years for their esoteric and metaphysical energies, making many items specifically for their healing properties, and to support the wearer in times of distress or disease.
If you would like a personal consultation on healing pieces, please feel free to message me to discus this in detail.
Thankyou for taking the time to read a little about me and my work.
Namaste,
THE LITTLE TINKER
